I find magazines make great gifts. There are so many niche magazines, you can almost always find a publication to match the peculiar interests of those on your birthday list. Check out Library Journal for an interesting list of Best Magazines launched in 2008. The mags cover a range of subjects from cheese to the Bible to the NCAA and politics.
